How to build a homemade incubator

Congratulations! You have found the website that instructs how to build a small incubator enabling you to hatch eggs.

After building my own working incubator I decided to share my ideas and designs on www.homemadeincubator.co.uk

This site is all about making a small, simple and safe egg incubator.  You can use the incubator on a variety of eggs, just setting the temperature and humidity right for the type of eggs you have chosen.

You need to get your incubator working just right to get the temperature and humidity stable for a successful hatch.   This involves the use of a thermostat which switches a heat source on and off to maintain the correct termperature.   A small amount of surface water is often needed to stabalize and maintain humidity.

Thanks for the great advice, I have just finished assembling the incubator and it has really come together well thanks to your very helpful advice.

I will put the eggs in to after the temperature has stabilized.
